This year we will be visiting our local Roman Bath (Nanaimo Aquatic Centre) on Sunday, May 23rd
Cost: $1 per camper.
You will have access to the swimming pool showers, a hot tub, sauna, steam room, lazy river and waterslides.
Night-time Activities
Friday Night – Movies under the moonlight
If you get your gear set up early on Friday night, check out our movies playing on the dance floor! Bring your own chair!
Saturday Night – The Miss Mesopotamia Beauty Pageant
Featuring three rounds of competition; Evening wear, sportswear/swimwear, and question period. The questions will have to do with ancient civilizations, so study up!
There will be a pre-screening earlier in the day. The pageant will start at 7pm.
Rules:
NO nudity, and please, we don’t want to see anything hanging out outfits must be era correct (ie. Roman, Egyptian, Greek, Mesopotamian, Minoan, Byzantine) More than one member of your group can participate (bonus points for each correctly dressed group member) If you want to choose your own music, contact the DJ a week in advance. Please note this is a Ms. Strawberry flats contest. So don't be using it as a means to embarass your fellow group member!
Sunday Night – “The Skeeter Factor” Talent Show
For all those talented people out there! Try to make stardom on “The Skeeter Factor”
Pre-screening earlier in the day, Talent show starts at 7pm
Rules
This is an actual talent show……dancing, singing, comedy, other?!?!?! Show creativity, but once again, no nudity!

Awards
Prizes and awards will be given out throught the weekend for participating in activities, and being dressed up!
Don't forget to decorate your Ancient Civilization (your site) Skeeter Staff will be scouring the campsite for the best decorated spot!
The major award for the weekend is the Spirit Award. Groups are encouraged to cast their vote for the group that they think has the most spirit. This award goes to the group that has shown the most spirit throughout the whole weekend. Participation in activities, camp cleanliness, camp decoration, and staff bribery are factors in determining this award.
